Several reasons may be behind the error you are encountering:
- internet connection issue
- web browser issue
- issue with your photo file
It is recommended to fill out the form from a computer and with a high-speed internet connection (e.g., ADSL or cable). It has been reported that using a smartphone may cause difficulties due to the built-in spell checker. Similarly, using a 3G USB key internet connection may make it difficult to upload photos to the server due to the unpredictable quality of the internet connection.
You also need to ensure that you are using an up-to-date web browser, as some functionalities may not work otherwise. For example, we have received feedback from some candidates indicating that older Mac models did not have a recent enough version of the Safari web browser, and as a result, it did not work on older Macs. In this case, the only solution is to use a more recent computer. We recommend using the latest versions of Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, or Firefox. All of these web browsers are free.
Finally, if there is an issue with your photo file: Please ensure that the format is the required one (JPG), that the file size is less than the requested size (10 MB), and that the dimensions of the photo are less than 5,000 pixels on each side of the photo.
Finally, if you have multiple photos to send, we recommend sending each photo one after the other and saving your file before sending a new photo.
