‘3D Secure’ is a technology for securing online payments that is now mandatory in many countries and has been developed by Visa, Mastercard, and other payment card organizations.
In the vast majority of cases, to authorize an online payment, you must enter a one-time code sent by your bank via SMS or through your bank’s mobile application. Your bank has probably already informed you about this online payment security called ‘3D Secure’.
When the ‘3D Secure’ technology is activated on your card by your bank, you cannot make an online payment if you do not enter the one-time code that your bank sends to you instantly via SMS or your bank’s mobile application.
Most of the time, if your payment is declined, it is because this one-time code was not entered correctly.
Contact your bank for more details on this matter.
