Once you have completed your application, you need to lock it to indicate to the system that you have finished. Locking your application automatically forces the system to check that everything has been completed correctly and nothing is missing.
To do this, go to the application file page and click on the “Confirm my completed application”, which is located at the bottom of this page. If the system does not detect any errors, it will bring up the page that allows you to lock your application. Simply follow the instructions on the screen. If not, correct what is wrong. The system flags anything that is not correct on the form in red.
If necessary, you can unlock your file to edit it again as long as you do this before the application submission deadline.
If you forgot to lock your file and the deadline has been reached or exceeded, the system will assume (as default) that all unlocked files are complete and will submit them to the Selection Committee – even if they are still incomplete. It is your responsibility to ensure that your application is complete before the application submission deadline. Otherwise, the selection committee will examine your application based on the information provided, even if there is very little or none at all.
